Hand dyed yarn

Hand dyed yarns are, as the name suggests, dyed by hand - either in pots, pans or kettles. They can be variegated or multi-coloured, but they all have a wonderful uniqueness to them. When knitting with hand dyed yarn, it's best to alwayas alternate between two skeins to make sure the finished result is even and balanced. Knit one or two rows from one skein, then one or two from the next - this keeps too drastic variegations and pooling of colour at bay!
