Retrosaria Pegulhal
Retrosaria Pegulhal
Pegulhal is a fingering weight yarn for knitters who like non superwash wooly yarns, by Retrosaria Rosa Pomar in Lisbon. It's dyed in the wool and ideal for stranded knitting project! The wool comes from different native Portuguese breeds: the latest batch is made with Campaniça and Black Merino.
Pegulhal will bloom and soften considerably after being washed. We recommend washing and blocking your swatch to determine gauge.
Pegulhal is made from the wool of free range sheep. Mulesing is not practised in Portugal. Not bleached and non superwash.
Grown, scoured, milled and dyed in Portugal.
