Sägen

Sägen comes from the very heart of Elk market yarn, and all Sägen yarns are hand dyed in the old mill here in south-east of Sweden, where the shop is located. The Sägen yarns are all made with a devotion to muted, nature-inspired colourways and unique fibre blends of the best quality. One of Lotta's biggest inspirations are folk tales and myths, and the colourways reflect this - here you'll find Trollharen (a supernatural entity created by a witch used for stealing milk), Askafroan (a female creature residing in an old ash tree that protects the land and those on it) and Chicken Legs (named after the wonderfully weird tale of Baba Yaga, an old woman residing deep in the forest, in a house on chicken legs that might run away from you at any moment).
