Sägen Devonia DK is a lovely British wool yarn spun by John Arbon Textiles in Devon, England. The wool used for Devonia is a mix of Exmoor Blueface, Bluefaced Leicester, Romney and Wensleydale, all from flocks around the area where the mill is located. With it's rustic yet soft handle, Devonia DK is perfect for everything from sweaters to accessories.
All yarns from Sägen are hand dyed by Lotta H Löthgren, using GOTS-certified dyes. The colourways are named after creatures, entities, details or ideas from folklore and old stories, and Sägen is the Swedish word for a certain kind of folk story. My aim is to create a palette of colours that are just as beautiful on their own as they are to combine, and that knitters and makers can return to over the years.
This listing is for 100 g skeins. Sägen Devonia DK is also available in 50 g skeins, which you'll find here.
