The Birlinn yarn company 4ply

The Birlinn yarn company 4 Ply is a blend of Hebridean sheep wool (the dark in Peaty brown) and Cheviot (the white in Bog cotton) all coming from Meg Rodger’s croft on the isle of Berneray in the Sound of Harris, Outer Hebrides. This is a hardwearing but surprisingly soft yarn perfect for colourwork and garments that will last years and years. The organic dyed colours are all based on the Storm grey natural colourway, which gives them a lovelt depth and heathered tone.
